sand on naked toes

my mum finally found the time to put all the photographs we took 9 freaking years ago at gold coast into an album, and she proudly showed me the fruit of her labour yesterday night.

i was HORRIFIED MORTIFIED PETRIFIED at how ugly i looked at primary 2. no wonder all the boys stayed away from me pffft.

beach extravaganza today was really fun! nothing quite compares to the smell of salty air and moist wind in your hair :). ran around barefoot-- played beach soccer, beach volleyball, ultimate frisbee. tammy, xp and i figured that we had really thick skin on our feet. hoho. came back with a wonky ankle, about 10 insect bites and painful eyes from all that sand that went in. but nat's a happy girl :)

oh, also because i got my double-scooped new zealand natural's ice cream. at a 30% discount :))))
