as we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

a return to love - marianne williamson

i had this somewhere in my newly-lost d-x archives. and since they're, well, LOST, i decided to put this up again, in the light of.. recent events. to all of you who've doubted your worth to the world at some point of time or another, to all of you who've felt that you weren't gonna make the cut for one thing or another, to all of you who've felt like the biggest losers in the world for being inadequate in some aspect or another, i hope this inspires you as much as it inspired me :)

to friends reading this, i just wna let you know that I LOVE YOU (as much as you love me!) the way you are and i hope you'd love yourself just as much as well because i'd never want to lose any of you the way his friends lost him. LOVELOVE XOXO
