Re-acquainted myself with that word, that i first came across as a grubby pri 5 kid thumbing through The Vocabulary Manual. read some article that appeared in the recent Sunday Times (or was it Saturday's paper?) on this lady who took that subject in Princeton. it sounds like THE ideal course of study for me, except 1) i don't know WHICH profession would require a degree like that and 2) local unis don't offer that, and i'm pretty hesitant about studying abroad.
if i were programmed to think a little LESS practically, i may have very well achieved a lot more than what i've achieved so far. boo.
oh anyway anthropology is, according to the SMU site, "The scientific and humanistic study of man's present and past biological, linguistic, social, and cultural variations. Its major subfields are archaeology, physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, and anthropological linguistics."
ayyyyyy.
signed myself up for the lingerie talk tomorrow-- i have noooo ideaaaa what it's about. except that much to our disappointment our DM ms phua is NOT going to be the speaker awww that greatly reduces the entertainment factor.
