haha scholars' choice was good. as in, entertaining and rather helpful heh. i think i'll be applying for a US university, but my mum is still rather against the idea of spending 4 years in a liberal arts college.
anyway, it was amusing mainly because of two things:
1) mr hui sui hang got sabo-ed onstage right at the beginning of the seminar when JAY THE JUGGLER performed for the opening haha. he asked for two strong guys to help him get on this plank on top of a cylinder for his juggling act and we happily volunteered mr hui. funny thing was, JAY THE JUGGLER couldn't pronounce his name and announced his name to the hundreds present that he was happy that he had "swee horng" to help HAHA
2) this guy in a (get this) MUSTARD YELLOW suit gave us a motivational talk and he was really really really hilarious. he had the funniest jokes and made the most zany statements haha but he was REALLY REALLY good. number one tip he offerred: DON'T FALL IN LOVE if you wna ace your exams hahaha really funny luh.
mae yue and i think he had his haircut with a coconut shell for a template hahahaha. either that or he was wearing a wig stuck on with superglue.
after the whole thing xp and i went scouting arnd for a place to study. i really don't like saturday crowds they are NOISYYYY. eventually we settled for good old gelare at citylink mall because the tables at suntec starbucks were too tiny and the place was too crowded, the starbucks at marina was right next to section selling vcds at the hypermart and who could study with three different dialouges blaring through the speakers simultaneously in three different languages?
done with studying for chem. i hope?
and i bought shiny dark red nail polish from skin food. yay!
