so we got all our papers back. to say my results were disappointing would be an understatement, but then again this little voice ringing at the back of my head tells me that to feel disappointed is an entitlement i don't have, simply because i hadn't worked hard enough to be justified to feel disappointed by my results.
lamenting of my shitty results will be done in my private diary considering that other people have got results shittier than my own.
slacking off for most of the first part of the year was a bad mistake.once again i assumed that everything would fall into place on its own eventually, confidently thinking that perhaps i had what it takes to allow myself to scrape through with minimal racking of brains. and i have to say my june holidays weren't spent wisely enough, research and trainings do not suffice for excuses and the only thing i have to blame is my complacency and haphazard time management. the only reason why my chem was such a supernova disaster was because of the really smart decision i made to study everything rightttt at the last moment. the only reason why i didn't do well enough for math was my assumption that the formulae and techniques will come to me naturally after a whole year of practising the same topics.
so a whole six months of bad decisions, stupid assumptions and complacency leads to disaster. i hate being bottom when being top was all i've ever settled for gahhh. but, if anything, being in that position has taught me to be more sensitive. it IS friggin irritating to hear how someone who's missed a grade by one mark go on and on about his or her predicament while you've not even managed to pass.
so NO MORE WASTING LIFE AWAY. i'll be working my ass off to pull off a spectacular performance in promos and HENCE will cut down on the following:
1. SHOPPING
2. all forms of web surfing
3. blogging
4. teevee.
no more using the above as excuses for stress relief. i don't think i'll need stress relief options if i actually bother to do consistent work.
and i'll be blogging a lot less from now on, probably only on weekends or even less. (i know don't miss me too much darlings) so GOODBYE AND GOODLUCK :)
