everybody loves to love you when you're far away

i haven't been blogging because i've been way too occupied with school stuff and BECAUSE i haven't found anything substantial to blog about. nobody wants to read about my mundane school life, or how many hairs have fallen out of my head since the day i was introduced to the monster termed PW, or how some random little annoying person has gone about making things unpleasant for me. i don't have grievances to air, happy stuff to share, nor even stuff to wonder about.

the only thing worth taking note is that jing and i have discovered previously uhh undiscovered eye candy in the great grey jungle that is NJC. which isn't much to note because they are nothing more than eye candy hrm

oh yes! and community service day!

we got (okay, I GOT) quite a shock when i saw the people we were going to take care of for the day because i specifically remembered being told that we're getting 16 to 18 year olds from MINDS clementi, a school for people with learning handicaps. instead the group consisted of people as old as 40something! so okayyyyy i wasn't particularly optimistic about how well we could interact with them

but i guess the day went okay. (like how wrong can community-song singing at the amphitheatre go?) and although they couldn't communicate much with us they enjoyed the singing v much haha. there was this lady who could sing really well! the chaperones told us she was gifted, and singing was her forte ahha.

bringing them to the toilet was left me in near hysterics because this lady wanted to take off her pants in the corridor ohmygoodness

overall it was an eye-opener. they were really nice people at heart and talking to some of them proved to be really amusing, like how this guy developed an infatuation for mrs lau and got weishun so freaked out because he was so sure he was going to harrass her or something hahahaha

i wanna go watch pirates of the caribbeannnn oooh my johnny depp. and blacklights at tjc! but THANKS TO THE TORRENTS OF SCHOOLWORK i can't afford the time. grosss.
