cooks &sentosa

am BLOODY ANNOYED with my internet connection because i've just attached a giganenormous video file to be sent to the walk in hiphoppers and it died. so all attempts at recalling that page have been futile so far and i am this close to freaking out and..OHYAY GUESSED WHAT THE CONNECTION JUST DIED. AGAIN. from now on it'd be known as my internet disconnection.

that wasn't the only stroke of bad luck today ): cooks' outing at sentosa was ruined by the horrid downpour which wouldn't stop. was supposed to be on the island by 10 but because of various reasons we only ended up making our way there at about 12 haha. luckily palawan beach wasn't very crowded because of the wet sand after the rain. found a really large empty spot when it promptly began pouring again ):

after really strenuous games of ultimate frisbee, volley-soccer-ball and soccer in the span of which i managed to malu myself in the wildest ways, kick up a mini sand tornado much to the dismay of darryl, score an incredulous penalty kick (and i STILL cannot figure out how it happened), we proceeded to conquer the seemingly easy inflatables in the lagoon. only when we were in the water did we realize that for a fee of 5bucks per hour, you'd spend half and hour exhausting yourself treading water without a life jacket and another half an hour trying to get UP the inflatable..thing, leaving you with zero physical strength before the hour was up. the water was horribly salty.

sadly the rain came AGAIN rahhrahh before our hour was up and we all got chased off ):

and there was no chance of the rain stopping after that. were pretty bored and the guys started digging a moat which spelt cook. then because we were so friggin cold in the rain and wind we made a dash for the warm(er) lagoon waters for a much needed sauna dip wheee

bad weather, but great company more than made up for it!

dinner at vivo after. i dont like that place much because it was crowded. crowds = no shopping mood. hence that was the first time i was stuck in a mall perpetually ENGULFED by boutiques YET didn't feel the urge to shop and spend.

this is random but after looking at all the OHMYGODULTRAKAWAII dogs on display at pet safari I WISH MY DAD WOULD HURRY UP AND MAKE UP HIS MIND ABOUT GETTING A DOG.
