CNY chronology

am posting at this unlikely hour because I GOT AN MC THAT GOT ME OFF WORK TODAY (((((: although i'd very much prefer the lump in my throat and immobile neck muscles to be absent a large part of me is thankful i don't have to go back to face work today, i hate mondays with a vengeance.

soooooo it's time to do a nice CNY post. complete with photos and more photos.

DAY ONE:
met up with all my paternal relations at Peach Garden restaurant for our reunion lunch. we were at the same place last year! gooooood fooood (:


happy eaters!


too lazy to do individual uploads. haha! cousin aaron had a fake ear stud on that got us all deceived zzz.

after lunch we headed for a walk by the singapore river. lots of tourists and some of them (guess from where!) were totally rude. like this man who cut into our picture with full knowledge that we were getting photographed grrr gets on my nerves all the time.


super windy, the wee hemline of my dress posed a serious problem.

after that it was dinner at my house for everyone and BLACKJACK hohum where i lost 30c. haha inconsequential to some but consider the fact that the majority of the players were half my age 30c is a big deal to them.

DAY TWO:
refer to prev post for the gist! super exhausting cos we possibly scoured the entire east side. not many photos either because we were too busy (eating)

DAY THREE:
headed to changi airport with ys's family to pick his dad up cos he was coming back from malaysia. then it was off to more visiting on his side at tampines! his uncle had this absolutely gorgeous border collie who was a hundred times more obedient than that little rascal we have back home! like he'd shake hands with ys's aunt, lie down when he's told and NOT MOVE AN INCH even when someone else calls his name and does his business in the toilet like a real human being haha i'm highly tempted to send miki to obedience school now!

the highlight of the day was KUNGFUDUNK ohyeah jay ohyeah SUPER cool! pls refrain from asking me about how the movie was if you seek an objective answer (: it was lame-funny just the kind of stuff i like for a light hearted watch heh heh!

DAY FOUR:
more visiting, to my grandaunt's and aunts' which was a round island trip from punggol to jurong and back to kallang. then it was off to grand shanghai in the evening to celebrate my grandma's birthday! the only downside was it was book-in day and i couldn't be there :(


haha in many of the pictures i was holding my neck, which hurt like (*&$@)!. the food was goooood but sad thing was the appetite wasn't there! sadsadsadsadsad :( -sulks

alrighty am mighty tired ima go rest the stupid neck now, plus i jst got A Phonecall which made me happy enough (:
