trekked down to choachukang, the epitome of ulu-ness, yesterday to watch the rugby Adiv finals between rj and acsi. alright THAT was our initial intention, until we were asked (or rather, commanded!) to play the exhibition (zzz) match with rj. i still think the purpose of the match was... not my thing, but the juniors played well!
so i was seated right smack in the acs clan pathetically cheering for rj (hello mr foo i risked my very precious life-- might have gotten smacked by overzealous ex-ruggers seated all around) but honestly ac played better. it all boiled down to a penalty in extra time which ended the game in rj's favour so at least my cheering didn't go to waste. but yes, it was all down to luck and who made the least mistakes in the end.
am so bummed liverpool lost :(
