weekend's been lovely so far (: which puts me in no mood to study! okay i should never complain that my life's mundane again

ytd was coolnesss! dinner at cine. the moment we stepped out onto the streets orchard the chingay festivities ended and there were fireworks shooting up into the sky right about 100m from where we were! so pretty so pretty it was almost magical (: didn't manage to see lu in her chinGAY shirt stooping between swensens and paragon though, see lu, too small!

grandma's birthday today. diner at the grand shanghai! i fell in love with that place the moment i stepped in and i think i looked like an idiot gaping around in wonder because the deco was so 1930s shanghai! the interior looked like it came straight out of a movie set. there was even a singer entertaining the crowd with chinese oldies, and a saxophone player HAVE I MENTIONED how much i love saxophone performances woohyeah hottt (: and THE FOOD OMIGOSH THE FOOD where do i even begin. i had the most heavenly oriental fare EVER everything was so delicious i ate twice as much as anyone else, i think. we had XIAOLONGBAOS that came in a bamboo long, each one of us had two in our individual longs. and the sharks fin soup was the best i've had in a long while ABSOLUTELY NO TAUGAY SMELL whoopee. ahhh it was a feast fit for a king. and i feel like an overweight king (or queen, for that matter) now ready to burst with all the goodness in my tummy (:

CTs really take the fun out of everything though :( couldn't eat in peace cos i kept thinking about how unproductive my studying session today was since i only got complex numbers and vectors bmq done. boooooh! am so screwedddd something miraculous needs to happen to my math results so that mr yeo will stop looking at me like i'm a kindergarten kid who can't get 1 + 1 correct.
