Cooks, we have the LOOKS

five days sounded like such a long time but it all passed too quickly-- from the big events like the high elements where a camera was permanently on standby to capture the unglam-ness of dangling in mid-air should you fall, the land expedition where we couldn't walk straight because of the load, the sea expedition where COOK was too fast for the rest, jetty jump where the drop felt like eternity, to the little things like having to feel your way round the girls' toilet in the mornings because electricity didn't come on till 7plus or so, late night chatting sessions on the blue tarp, being extra meticulous with our tent spacers when pitching and unpitching the tents, field cooking where, for the first time in my life, i came to the shocking realization that there were guys who ate only just as much or even lesser than i did, our 9084710982309501 mosquito bites, sleeping on hard gravel that left us with stiff backs, the toad that wouldn't stop croaking outside our tent, waking up at 2 am to indian techno music from johor, waking up to a chorus of snores from the guys' tents, FHM playing cards, yeechian's giant prawn encounter HAHA, dumping all our unwanted biscuits to eepin, cuixia's mid-sea toilet emergencies, geraldine and her best friend the mosquito repellent, terence's gung-ho kayaking, diyana's obsession with sunblock, thomas' no-link comments and funny racist jokes, kong's need to reveal bits of flesh as eepin puts it, ash's husband the first aid kit, wilson's 'WE HAVE THE LOOKS', christianne the fellow ex-guide, fred's loud laughter, hunkiat the professional field cook, peisi who braved her phobia of heights and water, and weijun the CI who wants to be respected (haha).

i wouldn't mind doing it all over again, what with such an awesome watch :) am now experiencing the after-effects, which include an inexplicable need to flatten any flying insect i see with my palms.
COOK!
