summer's fine as long as it stays below 32deg celsius

it's been a burning week and all i do in school is to look forward to lectures because that's the ONLY chance to enjoy air conditioning. either that or free periods where we'd end up in the students' centre avoiding the heat.

many of us are stuck in this gamut of emotions where we find ourselves no longer being able to defend our ip counterparts in view of how many of us have been behaving. being in the programme used to be something we were proud of-- our identity was like our badge of honour. but this year we've come to be associated with tardiness, complacency and insolence. and you'd have to be really blind to not notice how the teachers are so stressed out over everything from our grades to our attitude. i wouldn't deny that i've been guilty of submitting assignments late and not doing tutorials. but a handful of us are taking things too far, and it's not exactly within the ability of the others to better the situation.

oh well.
