you saw this coming!

aiya i know what you guys are gna say about this let me indulge for a moment pls!

weekend with the prickly scalp! 3 days felt unbelievably short, i feel like a greedy little kid - his parents barely saw him when he was home and i'm still complaining about not having adequate time to spend. slap.

saturday was spent emergeny cny shopping, which bore fruit in the form of a single zara polo tee. we are sad. it was because the shopping trip was interrupted by a very delicious lunch at MOF and my mum's cousin's wedding party at Amara later, peeeekchures!

good food! better than tekong obviously. someone was too sick to enjoy though sigh.

aiya heck. food means food. sick but still happy.

MOF food was good, but it couldn't beat the feast we had at Amara later on! the bride and the groom look like the most compatible couple ever. they'd have veryyyy good looking kids.

my little cousin don took a liking to ys's lap and never left his throne throughout the whole party omg.

then it was off to watch 27 dresses! not bad a movie, katherine heigl and james marsden make quite a good bickering couple haha.

sunday morning was spent helping my mum with the pre-painting cleaning. then it was allll the way to boon lay because one full day wasn't going to be enough to provide me the energy to last me for the next 10 days of solitude :(

recruit chua folding his army uniform. they are SUPER anal omg even the positions of the buttons on both sleeves have to be standardized.

i've always been fascinated by the ID tags they get because they look uber cool and exude the essence of a military man. over the weekend i found out that the whole purpose of wearing the id tags on them was to help in identifying their bodies should they be killed in a bomb attack (and thus be charred beyond recognition), in addition to helping decide what sort of burial to adopt because their religion was printed on it. super morbid i hate the idea :(

evening came too soon and POOF he had to go.

at pasir ris EVERY ONE LOOKED THE SAME. it was quite funny trying to see where his section mates were because all i could see was a sea of camouflage print AND black plastic specs. haha eventually found them in front of 7-11!

C B Chew, C W Wu, and Y S Chua hahahaha

last photo before he disappeared into the sea of green!

ahhh too many photos to post, i'd get hammered if there were anymore haha. 10 more whiny days (sorry people) before his next bookout on cny!
