headed down to vivocity to check out yet another singaporean record breaking attempt- that of creating the longest line of lanterns or something. don't get me wrong, i love my country and i'm proud of my roots but all this record breaking nonsense is ridiculous, but since i've never seen how they conducted these things i thought it'd be worth watching. all we saw were hordes of kids and their families taking rounds around the sky garden holding electric lanterns, those that run on batteries. i feel sorry for kids today hardly any of them get to experience the fun of playing with paper lanterns! like lantern races to see who could reach the finishing point the fastest without razing our paper lanterns awmannnn
ayyy but noisy electric lanterns and lame record attempts aside, it was an awesome day(: haven't had so much fun in a while! (:(:
