we'll sit and sing a song of what we did wrong

with hands held high into the sky so blue,
the ocean opens up to swallow you

i like this, linkin park. the hymn like quality punctuates the lyrics perfectly, if you know the song(:

have been gathering whatever meagre leisure time i have leftover from mugging and using it to satisfy my nosiness by blog-surfing. i'm not sure if this is a good idea to destress because some things i read get me distracted and wondering, a lot. like i've told xp, i don't understand how people destruct their lives so and remain nonchalant about it. and how they can get so hardened and jaded in their early teens, such that their take on the world gets so detached and emotionless. it's sort of unimaginable how my only worries in life revolve around flunking tests, growing fat, petty arguments etc, while someone out there my age has a similar list, only the issues that take precedence tread along the lines of whether the guy she slept with last night would get her pregnant.

am very much eighteen but i think with the naivety of a thirteen year old :( growing up sheltered still seems like a pretty good alternative to being thrown in the face of reality before you're attacked by the Alevels bug.
