nougat parfait!

dined at pontini's with my aunt yesterday and OHMYGOODNESS it made my stomach very happy indeed (: the ravioli with veal and truffles was the best thing i've ever tasted (or rather it seemed so at the moment)! when the waiter served it up i found to my dismay that there were only 6 pieces. my aunt said they looked like 6 wantons. BUTTTT they were deceptively filling and i was stuffed by the fourth piece haha

the best part had to be the dessert. nougat parfait in bitter chocolate soup! this takes the cake, from whatever dessert dishes i've tried in the course of 18 years. icy creamy nougat parfait in lightly whipped liquid bitter chocolate that just slid down the throat, AIYEEEE it was like rich ice cream doused in creamy chocolate milk, i like i like!

came home a very full and happy girl (: haha but this will not do i keep piling on the pounds after i've jogged them off so it's going to elapse into a never ending cycle of lose-and-gain-again. groan.

speaking of shedding kilos, i was surfing awfulplasticsurgery that day and i came across this video of a fat kid who underwent like 8000 bucks worth of cosmetic surgery just to become a model. her mom re-mortgaged her house to foot the bills and she told the interviewer that she was 'proud of what she made'. i guess the psycho kid sounds a whole lot more sane after you've heard the psycho mum.
