double standards

aaaarggghhh blogger is SO screwed up. have got a pressing urge to blog, but the blasted page wouldn't load. so this is a pre-saved entry

so...it's never okay for a teen to occupy his seat on the MRT train while an old lady/man with a walking stick in hand stands a few feet away hanging on for dear life, but there's nothing wrong when an equally healthy-limbed adult chooses to ignore the presence of an elderly person desperately looking for a seat on a train at peak-hour, and pretends to sleep the moment he boards? you see, adults are always blaming the kids for being inconsiderate in public. As if they're any role models themselves. pahh. to be quite honest i haven't seen that many students, young people, or kids as they will be called to differentiate them from the working adults, rob a seat from a pregnant lady, plug their giganenormous bodies into the exits on a bus, refuse to move to the back of a bus to allow more passengers to board, take up two seats on public transport, etc etc etc, as i have seen adults do. and then two-thirds the time the blame is pushed to us, the students, the young ones. VERY MADDENING OKAY.

went SHOPPING today! for the first time in a very very loooong time, xp, jing, fishy and i GOT TOGETHER to do what we do best. TEEHEE
incredible sales everywhere. my only gripe was that the LEVI'S SALES HAD ENDED AND TAKA LEVI'S IS NO MORE BOOHOOSMOOFOO.nevertheless. returned home with a pretty top from fleshimp :) if i had got more cash, and i had bought that CUTEST little vintage purse from flowers in the attic, i'd have been the happiest girl alive :) ohwell. but at least we got out for a breather :) yayy

i think old couples are extremely cute :)
there's nothing more heartwarming than seeing an elderly couple holding hands and drinking coffee on a dreary sunday afternoon in a cafe which (rather unthoughtfully) has its air-conditioning system set at a freezing temperature of 15 degrees. awwww :)
