this week has been a blur, it feels like everything around's going fast and i'm two steps behind everyone else. or maybe i'm the blur.
i only remember yesterday's events significantly. car washed after school. i think playing around with grubby cloths and car detergent gives a whole new meaning to the word fun. close shave yesterday when suihang
went to watch the track events after that. am so proud of the i05 participants! clara got her bronze medal in shot put, dawn came in second for 400m heats (whoa superwoman whoa) and suihang and basil came in 3rd and 4th respectively in the 400m finals. yay! impressive medal tally :) :)
bummed around in school for a while after that, went to island creamery to settle "dinner" with xp suihang and one-legged lina. the apple pie ice cream is superbbbb i tell you. yes we from nj and hc are lucky people. talked about random stuff, about councillors, about canoeing (the 3 happy canoeists engaged in animated conversation, half of which i didn't understand), lina's giraffe, suihang's gaylaxy, etc. after which we just took a whole mountain of rubbish photos with suihang's camera which all turned out horrible because our cameraman (ahemahem) had lousy aim. the cj peple in there were laughing at us.

it was a nice closure to a really hectic week :) THAT'S WHY i say we should make friday get-togethers compulsory, what with xp's canoeing season over already and stuff.

friendly with hc today. it was.... arrrgh. it wasn't my 100%, and if coach had been there she'd probably have skinned most of us, if not all. a lot of mistakes that could have been avoided, weren't. and my stamina basically just sucked. rawr.
we were quite far from playing our best.
lunch with the ruggers at adam road food centre after that. talked about the game, talked about random stuff. aiyee. team effort team effort! :)
am tired :( and there's gpp to do, GROWL.
